Brewster River Mountain Bike Club
2008 Season

The Brewster River Mountain Bike Club (BRMBC) is an organized chapter of the Vermont Mountain Bike Association (VMBA), a non-profit organization formed in 1997.

The primary purpose of the club is to ensure the continued accessibility and creation of our local NON-MOTORIZED, MULTI-USE trails. We work with state and town officials, conservation groups, and other local individuals and organizations. As a club, we seek permission from public and private landowners, to create and maintain trails, promote responsible riding, conservation, youth participation and respect for the outdoors.

*Landowner Support Fund - Vermont Statutes (12 V.S.A. Section 5791) state no landowner is liable for any property damage or personal injury to a person who uses the property for recreation, providing a fee is not charged Other statues provide additional protection for landowners who allow bicycling and other activities. The Landowner Support Fund is a statewide effort by VMBA to provide landowners with financial support in the unlikely event of litigation.
