From recent JO planning experience, I recommend keeping an eye on conditions (amount of snow, and road) via www.altasierra.com.  I just checked the live webcam, via that website, and there is still quite a bit of snow at the resort elevation.

Some amount of precipitation is forecasted this week down here in Bako.  Don't know what JO will get.

Me and my dad have already decided to ride the foothill classic loop this sunday, So i can't go. :(

It was pretty windy and a bit rainy today though, so i hope it clears up and doesn't effect the trail at JO! That would really suck.

Jeez, its like everything is trying to keep me from doing this ride. Haha. I'll get to ride it eventually though. Have fun chauncey! and whoever else is going.

If you decide to change your mind though, or the weather messes things up. We're going to be at the FHC area around 11am Sunday, so you could join us if you end up not being able to go.
